Target Audience: 2026-27 High School Junior Students
The Macomb Intermediate School District provides incoming juniors with an opportunity to explore tools available through the College Board Student Portal, the Bluebook digital testing app, and the free digital SAT prep courses offered through Khan Academy.
In spring 2024, the SAT Suite of Assessments changed to a digital, modular, computer-adaptive test. Evidence-Based Reading and Writing is now one section of the assessment and includes a larger number of shorter passages. In addition, the Math test is now one section in which students can use calculators throughout.
In this asynchronous course, students will be able to work at their own pace and schedule. Students will also have opportunities to experience example digital items and sample digital tests similar to those they will encounter when taking the assessment in the spring of their junior year.
Students are encouraged to complete the Schoology coursework as soon as possible so they can spend more time engaging with the Digital SAT prep courses through Khan Academy. While access to the Schoology course is limited to the two-week window, students may continue working on the Digital SAT prep courses through Khan Academy after the course concludes.
